Should I use WooCommerce or Shopify?
It depends on your situation. WooCommerce gives you more control and flexibility, especially if you need custom functionality or already have a WordPress site. Shopify is simpler to manage day-to-day and handles hosting and security for you. I work with both and can help you decide which is the better fit based on your products, budget and how hands-on you want to be.
How much does an e-commerce site cost?
It varies a lot depending on complexity. A straightforward WooCommerce store with standard functionality starts from around £750. Stores with custom features, complex product types or third-party integrations will be more. I'll give you a clear, fixed quote after we've discussed what you need.
Can you migrate my store from another platform?
Yes. I've migrated stores from Magento, Squarespace, BigCommerce, custom platforms and between WooCommerce and Shopify. Products, categories, customers, order history and URL redirects are all handled carefully to minimise disruption and protect your search rankings.
My WooCommerce store is slow. Can you speed it up?
Yes, and this is one of the most common things I help with. WooCommerce performance issues usually come down to a combination of plugin bloat, unoptimised images, poor caching, database bloat or inadequate hosting.
